The match has lived to expectations in terms of what Brazil could do even though they only won by the lowest of margins.

They had 26 shots in total but only 10 directed on goal. 2 goals by Maicon and Elano tell the story of the match that was heavily dominated by Brazil that brought samba to Johannesburg.

Maicon scored on the 55th minute of the match remembering the good old Roberto Carlos’s goal style. From the most difficult angle he tried to cross what ended up to be a shot and that was enough to beat Ri Myong-guk.

A little bit later on the 72th minute a through-pass from Robinho found Elano that sent his shot to the left bottom corner to make it 2-0.

The game finished in a fashionable way with a fantastic goal by North Korea by the 90th minute. From a quick set-piece taken a perfect drive got to the foot of Ji-Yun Nam to strike gloriously with his left foot past Julio Cesar.
