Cameroon 1-2 Denmark

The Line-Ups:

Cameroon: 16-Hamidou Souleymanou; 19-Stephane Mbia, 5-Sebastien Bassong, 3-Nicolas Nkoulou, 2-Benoit Assou-Ekotto; 8-Geremi, 18-Enoh Eyong, 6-Alexandre Song, 10-Achille Emana; 15-Achille Webo, 9-Samuel Eto'o.

Denmark: 1-Thomas Sorensen; 15-Simon Poulsen, 4-Daniel Agger, 3-Simon Kjaer, 6-Lars Jacobsen; 19-Dennis Rommedahl, 2-Christian Poulsen, 10-Martin Jorgensen, 8-Jesper Gronkjaer; 9-Jon Dahl Tomasson, 11-Nicklas Bendtner.

We just had to wait for 10 minutes to see another awful mistake from a defensive line in this World Cup. This time were Sorensen and Poulsen having such slip-up. Playing on the back and making the wrong choice the Danish goalkeeper delivers the ball onto Poulsen that under-pressure passes to Emana that after a few steps crosses low to Eto’o that strikes powerfully into the net. 1-0 to Cameroon and they keep scoring inside of the box meaning that all goals scored by Les Lions Indomables have been inside the box.

Advancing to the 35th minute and Denmark scores after having a lot of chances. Kjaer send a deep break-through pass towards Rommedahl that consequently low crosses to the second post to find Bendtner to tap in for the goal that gets things leveled. 1-1 Denmark.

In the 61st minute Rommedahl scores in a fantastic individual effort that sees Cameroon heading home after this 2-1 defeat against Denmark, but still a word of praise for the Cameroon that had most of the game and surely the World Cup will miss them.
