As we have reported in the analysis of the Group C and specifically about England & USA, we have seen the British winning most of the matches but in terms of World Cup head-2-head USA has edged England even though that happened before the 60s.

England has yet to concede a lot of goals from the group stages in the World Cup, because they have maintained a 10 clean sheets from the last 14 matches while USA fights bravely not to concede goals even though we have seen a lot of improvement from the north American nation when it comes down to “soccer”.

Gerrard GOALLLLL… assisted by Heskey…and we are just 4 minutes into the match. Quick play from England and looked like the USA were still positioning them just to start the game.

So far Onyewu is the North American player highlighted whether we talking about his defensive performance or his offensive drives. Coming from an injury this is what any coach would wish.

38 minutes and the best chance USA had came through Donovan and only when he tried his luck with a long range shot.

Robert Green thought it was Christmas so he decided to give a gift to the fellow Americans allowing a weak shot from Dempsey to go in…in Portuguese Footballary we call it “grande pato”. He has done justice to his name by being Green in terms of goalkeeping even though he has a lot of potential, this may harm his career. We will see the role that Beckham and Capello will play in the dressing room at half time.

51 Minutes and Heskey that is having a excellent performance against all odds missed a chance just with Tim Howard ahead of him. Great save by the north American goalkeeper that plays in the Premier League.

64 minutes and Altidore strikes what was the best moment for USA in this match other than the goal scored and we see Robert Green having his redemption from the awful mistake in the first half.

74 minutes and Jabulani’s shot through Rooney striking approach was almost getting in, but it was not to happen this time.

USA will be happy to take the draw against favorite England and still has not lost against the British in World Cup competition.
