Ghana 0-1 Germany

The Line-Ups:

Ghana: 22-Richard Kingson; 4-John Pantsil, 8-Jonathan Mensah, 5-John Mensah, 2-Hans Sarpei; 6-Anthony Annan, 23-Kevin-Prince Boateng, 13-Dede Ayew, 12-Prince Tagoe; 21-Kwadwo Asamoah, 3-Asamoah Gyan.

Germany: 1-Manuel Neuer; 16-Philipp Lahm, 3-Arne Friedrich, 17-Per Mertesacker, 20-Jerome Boateng, 13-Thomas Mueller, 6-Sami Khedira, 7-Bastian Schweinsteiger, 10-Lukas Podolski, 8-Mesut Ozil, 19-Cacau.

1 hour played and Ozil scores so far the best goal of the tournament and once again a left footed goal. Amazing composure by Ozil when controlling and then shooting the ball towards Kingson’s net. Germany are at this time top of the group D while Ghana maintain their qualifying spot but this time in second place due to the number of goals scored that are better than the run of Serbia.

While Germany keep playing in their high-tempo approach Ghana does not seem to be interested in losing the match as they already have had a lot of chances but failed to score yet they keep pressuring Germany in order to go further deep into Germans last third.
