Ghana 1-1 Australia

The Line-Ups:

Ghana: 22-Richard Kingson; 4-John Pantsil, 8-Jonathan Mensah, 19-Lee Addy, 2-Hans Sarpei, 6-Anthony Annan, 21-Kwadwo Asamoah, 13-Dede Ayew, 23-Kevin-Prince Boateng, 3-Asamoah Gyan, 12-Prince Tagoe

Australia: 1-Mark Schwarzer; 2-Lucas Neill, 3-Craig Moore, 14-Brett Holman, 8-Luke Wilkshire, 23-Mark Bresciano, 5-Jason Culina, 16-Carl Valeri, 7-Brett Emerton, 10-Harry Kewell, 21-David Carney.

We are into the 10th minute and Jabulani coming as the X-Factor again. Australia get the free-kick under the signature from Bresciano, Kingson tries to grab it but is unwilling and on the rebound Brett Holman taps in. 1-0 Australia.

WOW…23 minutes and Ayew makes whatever he wants from the Aussie last third before delivering a back pass to Mensah that shot into the goal and sees Kewell handballing it clearly. Red Card for Kewell and after Cahill get also the same lecture in the first match now seems Australia are out of the competition missing out on their two best players.

Asamoah Gyan strikes his second penalty of competition making 1-1 the match and having the second goal into his account overall.

MAN OF THE MATCH: Asamoah Gyan
