Mexico 0-1 Uruguay

The Line-Ups:

Mexico: 1-Oscar Perez; 5-Ricardo Osorio, 15-Hector Moreno, 2-Francisco Rodriguez, 3-Carlos Salcido, 18-Andres Guardado, 4-Rafael Marquez, 6-Gerardo Torrado, 17-Giovani Dos Santos, 9-Guillermo Franco, 10-Cuauhtemoc Blanco

Uruguay: 1-Fernando Muslera; 2-Diego Lugano, 6-Mauricio Victorino, 4-Jorge Fucile, 16-Maximiliano Pereira, 15-Diego Perez, 17-Egidio Arevalo, 7-Edinson Cavani, 11-Alvaro Pereira, 9-Luis Suarez, 10-Diego Forlan.

First five minutes and we see Suarez missing out on a perfect chance to put Uruguay ahead.

Advancing to the 21th minute it was Guardado for Mexico striking the ball violently against the post. So this means that no arranged match scam is on despite a lot of speculation.

43th minute and Suarez makes it 1-0 Uruguay. After Cavani crossing from the right wing Luis Suarez heads it in with no opposition from the Mexican goalkeeper.

Second half was not that lively even though Mexico tried to push for a goal in order to draw the match but still Aguirre felt much more comfortable when got from the bench that Malouda had scored for France and so the defeat even by a two goal margin would mean nothing but advance.
