South Africa 0-3 Uruguay

The Line-Ups:

South Africa: 16-Itumeleng Khune; 2-Siboniso Gaxa, 3-Tsepo Masilela, 20-Bongani Khumalo, 4-Aaron Mokoena; 12-Reneilwe Letsholonyane, 13-Kagisho Dikgacoi, 10-Steven Pienaar, 11-Teko Modise, 8-Siphiwe Tshabalala; 9-Katlego Mphela.

Uruguay: 1-Fernando Muslera; 2-Diego Lugano, 3-Diego God 4-Jorge Fucile, 16-Maximiliano Pereira, 15-Diego Perez, 17-Egidio Arevalo, 7-Edinson Cavani, 11-Alvaro Pereira, 9-Luis Suarez, 10-Diego Forlan

Finally someone strikes the Jabulani in the right away to score a goal...Oh no... Wait...it took a deflection from Mokoena but still the most brilliant goal so far in this World Cup with the signature of Diego Forlan. So, Uruguay leads after 25 minutes to silence the vuvuzelas and the South African crowd.

This is a crucial World Cup decision by referee Busacca sending off Khune and giving a penalty to Uruguay. Straight red card means the South African goalkeeper will definitely miss the next match against France that after this defeat will be the last hope of the Bafana Bafana.

In the 80th minute Forlan scores from the penalty spot and sends the Uruguayan team to the second round and probably they will take the first place as we reported on the Sports Zone Show.

In the last gasp of the match Alvaro Pereira headed into the net after Suarez crossing perfectly. 3-0 for Uruguay and no doubt of the power they can bring to this competition.

MAN OF THE MATCH - Forlan
